My little brother has gotten to the point where simple building blocks aren't advanced enough for him to use so I designed him this system of connectors for 2x1. Most of the blocks can print without supports you might want to print them solid so that they won't break. After you print al the pieces you want, you need to cut some 2x1 int the lengths you want some good lengths are 3" 2' 4'. Then start building!

It's a 2 by 4 Lego block. Probably not cost effective to print a bunch of these but it's nice for checking part size calibration. My print fit with other legos fine. Your mileage may vary.

This is a simple building project that I have been working on. There are two files to print the puck and the bracket. I have designed the puck to fit on the bracket like the pictures above. I used 10mm x 2.5mm zip ties to connect each piece together with the holes on each bracket. Materials: PLA white 10mm x 2.5mm zip ties Led strips Note: This is a still a work in progress. A 3d printable coupler for 10mm aluminium tubes. This makes joining tubes together using M3 or M2 bolts easy. Good for right angles, T-junctions and 4-way junctions.

I needed a printable brick thing, something general, that could be used in a variety of scenarios (bored fun, school projects, something to give to my child to play with so he stops attacking the walls). Quick to print, a full bed (150x150mm) would take around 5 hours to print. The holes are both aesthetic and there to hold either a thin wire or give glue something to grip onto. This thing is tiny (10mm x 20mm x 5mm), so if you print it, keep that in mind!

Did you ever have a set of these when you were a kid? I did, and they were awesome. They were called Octoblocks I think? I can't remember. I just made this up quickly for my son. includes both STL for 3D printing, and SVG for Lasercutting using 3mm material. Enjoy!

clone of wedgit building blocks. I gave them a slight decrease to size so they fit nicely, and rounded off the corner so it's safe for kids. Find the dirty dirty Inventor files used to generate the STL. It's very simple geometric shapes so I don't think you need any printing tips. zero infill required.

Designed to be printed on it's back with the pins facing upward. Used same material for support, no need for PVA or Breakaway. I printed a few of these on faster settings because they were needed for a kids party so time was a factor; this caused the pins came out a little rough. Knowing that I would have slowed my speed down by 20% or so and I think they would have come out much nicer. Still happy though. Enjoy.

Out of pure boredom, I modeled something similar to a lego, but almost the same product. Not only did I include the printable file formats, but I also included a detailed and dimensioned drawing interpreted by ASME standards as a pdf in case you want to model and make your own modifications and tolerances.
