Created as a replacement for a knob on an old valve radio (the restoration of which unfortunately hasn't got beyond this point), this solid knob is designed to fit potentiometers with 6.3mm "D" type (flattened side) shafts. This is probably the most common size of potentiometer shaft. The knob it was based on is the yellow one in the last image. The side grips ended up more pronounced than in the original, though this does allow for better grip.

I recently received a Sharp PC-1500 pocket computer with CE-150 printer. Besides the leaky 35-year old NiCd that I replaced the printer gave me the dreaded CHECK:6 error, which was traced to stuck mechanics due to cracked motor pinions. I noticed one of my vintage Nerf Monoblasts was not firing at all. I took this opportunity to design a replacement barrel. It has multiple functions. It allows you to install a 17/32 brass barrel. The big end not only acts as the plunger stop but when inserted in far enough blocks off the air hole for the original barrel. I wanted to have a battery operated 'vintage oil lamp' to take camping. I thought it would look great in a tent, but without the dangers of using a real flame. This is a tamiya motor mount i have made for my dirt thrasher it will also work on a manta ray and some others tamiya models all the holes are in the same spot so isnt made for different ratio gears just stock i just self tapped the screws is a bit tight on the posts. It works well just note that it isnt going to be a 100% fix mine hasnt broken yet just made it while i wait for an aluminium one couldnt find one so i made my own. A few years ago we carelessly broke the glass globe of the sconce in our home office. Now we have a new globe! To see if it fits you just need to measure the base of the socket area: Base Inner Diameter: 34.15mm Base Outer Diameter: 42.00 mm **Use ABS, and be careful about the wattage light bulb you use. Definitely use a CFL or LED bulb to minimize heat.**
