There are a lot of good self contained ammo boxes on thingiverse. But let's say you have a lot of empty cardboard boxes but no longer have holders. Or you have a lot of cardboard stock. Or you just really like the thought of printing your own custom box. Worry not fellow makers, because here is a combination ammo tray and printable template that will take care of your ammo box needs. Since the DownLULA loader broke right away and was also far too big and therefore "wobbled" a lot, I decided to change it to my needs. I left out the unloading aid completely (in my opinion, pointless). This is an insert for the Lee case collator that separates the 9mm cases from the larger ones. It's just to do a final check so that a .40 doesn't get stuck and you have to remove the whole thingamajig to get it out. Summary Recently got a new faucet for my kitchen sink. When putting it together, I realized the space was too small for tools to tighten the 2 9mm hex nuts that hold the faucet tight against the sink. So hopefully this will help. I recommend using a brim while printing. I also printed it laying down so I could reinforce the whole thing with tape to keep it from separating.

I store my ammo in an ammo crate and wanted to reuse the plastic trays that came with my 50 round remington range ammo boxes so I could still take a couple boxes with me to the range, but couldn't find anything on here that fit my needs, so I unfolded the box and modeled this after it. This is a screen that I use to sort brass. There are two versions, one has slats that are 11mm wide and one is 10.5mm. Both work but it depends on how accurate your printer is. Start with the smaller one and it it doesn't work, use the 11mm. The 11mm may let some .40 S&W through if you shake too hard. This remix separates the base of the original Thing (9mm version only) into a top and bottom half and adds magnets to attach the two halves of the base together. This has two advantages: 1. Easier stowage in a field bag. Smaller pockets in the bag can be used to store the UpLULA and the pickup rail side-by-side. 2. Eliminates extra bulk when trying to rake up rows of ammo. The rail portion of the extension can be removed so that the ammo tray can stay firmly on a table or other flat surface...
