Part inserts into an AR-15 Magazine to hold the follower down, allowing the bolt to go into battery with an empty magazine in the weapon. I redesigned this from the original by shorthening it to make it easier to get in and out of the magazine. This is the final design. Single shot insert for an AR15 magazine for NRA and CMP high-power competition. This inserts on top of the existing follower. The easiet way is to remove the floorplate, spring and follower, and then insert this adapter, then reassemble. I also have a one-piece version.
