This was a magazine designed to be viewed directly on a Playstation Portable handheld game console.
Since the PSP was capable of displaying JPEG image files stored on its memory card, it wasn't long before people got the idea to distribute dedicated gaming magazines as a sequence of pictures that could be read on the console itself. They tended to use tiny text, which could display entire paragraphs within the console's 480x272 screen resolution.
This particular magazine would normally appear sideways on the PSP's screen and the user would turn their PSP console sideways to read this magazine in a "portrait" view. The console itself had no gyro to detect motion. Not all PSP magazines did this.
