April 23-25, 1965 at New York's New School is a discussion of the Negro
woman in America and in American literature. Participants are poet Sarah
Wright, playwright Alice Childress, singer and actress Abbey Lincoln,
novelist Paule Marshall and poet Sterling A. Brown. This is the second
episode of a twelve-part series of recordings from the Negro Writer's Vision
of America Conference; the remaining episodes are not currently held by the
Archives.
